Partner Manager

The Role

Wearegrip is looking for a Partner Manager to join our talented team at wearegrip. In this role, you will be the lead point of contact for all partner relationships for one of our athlete clients, ensuring strong collaboration, clear communication, and successful delivery of commitments.

You will manage the day-to-day operations of all partner activity, including maintaining a deliverables calendar, tracking meetings and updates, and ensuring that all obligations are fulfilled on time and to the highest standard. You will also act as the central hub between partners and our internal team, making sure all communication is aligned, timely, and effective.

Collaboration is at the core of this role: you will work closely with our internal brand, marketing, and content teams, as well as with external partners, to maximize opportunities and ensure partnerships deliver real value for all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing partner or client relationships, ideally within sports, entertainment, or a fast-paced agency environment. You should be highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously. This role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of accountability.

Your responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Act as the lead point of contact for all partner relationships for a designated athlete client
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Manage the deliverables calendar across all partnerships, ensuring deadlines are tracked and met
  • Coordinate and track all meetings, updates, and partner communications
  • Ensure timely reporting and updates are shared with both partners and internal teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on partner obligations, including content, appearances, and activations
  • Monitor partnership activity to ensure value is delivered for both the client and the partners
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow existing partnerships
  • Support in the development of new partnership opportunities where required

About you

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing partnerships, accounts, or client relationships, ideally in sports, entertainment, or a creative agency
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain relationships at all levels
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • A genuine passion for sport and an interest in brand partnerships and marketing
  • Based in London and able to commute to East London at least four times a week

Your skills

  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Experience tracking deliverables, managing calendars, and reporting on outcomes
  • Skilled at stakeholder management and building relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident with digital tools and platforms for scheduling, reporting, and project tracking
  • Background in sponsorships, partnerships, or brand activations

Not essential but always a bonus

  • Experience working with high-profile athletes, sports teams, or entertainment clients
  • Familiarity with the motorsport industry
